A beautiful house depends not only of beautiful interiors but also of the combination of interesting architecture with collected decor. This house in Seattle was designed by Paul Moon Design _an architectural, interior and landscape design firm based in Seattle, Washington.
Paul Moon certainly created a house where the space was well planed and the flow between the rooms create a balanced and cohesive vibe. The entire house was staged and that explains the minimal usage or artwork and the “limited” look, but I’d like you to focus on the architecture and millwork of this house.
The custom door is painted in Benjamin Moore 2132-10 black and plants are Prunus lusitanica (Portuguese laurel).
Millwork is benjamin moore cloud white, floors are 4″ wide white oak floor dyed and stained with a custom stain.
The room feels very neutral. I truly like the built-ins. Walls: Benjamin Moore OC-140.
Nothing better than having a fireplace warming up a room on a chilly day.
The dark hardware contrasts beautifully with the white built-ins. Color: Morning Dew OC-140 by Benjamin Moore
This dining room feels very intimate because of the round table.
Chandelier is from Dennis & Leen.
Timeless materials were applied to this kitchen.
Sources: Cloud White 967 by Benjamin Moore, 48″ Wolf Gas Range with Charbroiler & Griddle, Niche Modern Bella Pendant.
Great elements: white cabinets, honed black granite, wolf range, miele in-wall ovens and subway tiles.
Wall color: Benjamin Moore OC-140. Tiles: Ann Sacks.
I love this family room _ very cozy.
The gas fireplace has granite surrounding it and wood mantle.
Beautiful dark stained stairs.
Lights: Brass Light Gallery.
The master was also staged, so we’re definitely missing a sitting area and some artwork. Color: Benjamin Moore 953.
Oh, I’m in love with this bathroom! Faucets are made by Cifial and countertops are calacutta marble.
Faucets are by THG (model: Beluga) and tiles are Calacutta marble.
The floors are a custom mosaic supplied by Ann Sacks.
The media room has a very cozy and comfy feel to it. It’s perfect! Color: Benjamin Moore North Creek Brown.
The covered patio is perfect for Seattle! 🙂 Door hardware by: Nobilus
This is truly a showpiece!
What’s your favorite part of the house? Would you change the decor or you like this way? I’d love to hear from you today! 🙂
How are you guys doing? Did you enjoy your weekend? I just finished organizing everything around the house and put my kids to sleep. Today was a nice day, we played board games, Barbie and I read some books to Matthew. I feel grateful today because I could spend time with my kids, at home and that’s a gift.
Let’s try to focus not on the Gifts we’ll receive, but most importantly, let’s focus on what Gifts we will share this week.
We have so much to share, to give. Start by smiling more to people. Share a positive energy, share a caring energy. Approach people that are in need.
Share your Gifts and be open to welcome more Blessings this week.
