This classic cape cod cottage sits majestically on the shoreline of Sengekontacket Pond, with sweeping water views and its own private sandy beach. Directly to its east, the property is bordered by more than a 150 acres of conservation land in the Caroline Tuthill Preserve.
Located in Edgartown, a small village on Martha’s Vineyard in Dukes County, Massachusetts, this cottage was designed with summer in mind. The interior mixes some beautiful vintage pieces with comfortable coastal decor, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful waterviews.
Outside, there are lavish perennial and hydrangea gardens surrounding a large brick patio. The patio opens from the dining area and kitchen for outdoor dining and entertaining.
This cape cod cottage is truly a place where anyone can dream of having fun in the sun, or doing absolutely nothing at all.

Relax, It’s Summer!
There’s a very appealing mix of traditional architecture with relaxed furnishings in this space. It actually works very well for this cottage.
The eating area is very casual, yet classic and has lovely waterviews.
Eating & Cooking
The eating area opens to a fantastic kitchen.
A smaller island separates the kitchen from the eating area.
Surprise! Surprise! Not so shabby for a cottage kitchen, huh?
This French Lacanche Range is sexy and is the star of this kitchen. I love how beautiful it looks against the white cabinets and marble. Warmth is brought not only with the red range, but also with brass hardware.
This bedroom is all about simplicity.
I love these vintage beds. Aren’t they charming?
This is a great way to display art.

Isn’t it a dreamy spot? I honestly fell in love with this cottage… that range, the shingles and the beach! Wow! This is paradise for me! 🙂
Hello, everyone! It’s great to have you here and I hope everything is pretty wonderful in your life right now! 🙂
Well, as many of you know, I almost ended-up having a surgery back in March and many of you have asked me if I got better. I didn’t mention anything before because I didn’t have any news. I have done some exams and I was waiting to hear from my doctor, who actually had a car accident and wasn’t working until a couple of weeks ago. Now, that he’s back, I’m finally going to see him again next Monday and we’ll see what will happen.
I feel 100% better and, as my husband and I have decided, I will only have a surgery if it’s completely necessary. I don’t do well with pain and hospitals… I even cried the last time I was there. I feel lonely and very scared… and the worst part is being away from my kids. I simply can’t.
I’ll see what the doctor says next Monday, but if there’s no complications, I will wait, at least until my baby is a bit older. Meanwhile, thank you for your prayers and emails. They all have helped me a lot! 🙂
I will keep you posted on this, ok?
