I love the mansion I go a lot and think it is beautiful. The red room is not in the house it is out in the game room and yes it’s red floors curtains and bedding (that is not ripped up like the picture anymore). I did rad Isabella’s book before my first time going and had a mind set of what it’d smell and look like. It is kept very clean and doesn’t small like dog urine or poop the dogs are taken outside quite a lot by their owners I loved behind there. The outside I beautiful but the inside is even better outdated it

This maybe a goldmine of a home but I don’t think this is cool. After seeing the bedrooms and the bathroom? I cant imagine why its just like that.

Iconic or not, it’s ‘DEF’inately a ‘HEF’ty no thanks for me! Some of the furniture (like the tufted leather sofas) are timeless keepers, but the whole thing just oozes ick, iCK, ICK to me. I think a major lipsuction of this place is needed! xo Sheila

Fool, absolutely, a fool. What else can be said for this place that is more “habitat” than home?

As for the house, I have no doubt that it could be spectacular once it is thoroughly de-Hefnerized. Rather than a bevy of bims, I am imagining a army of Mr. Cleans going over the place from top to bottom; then I’d deploy the decorators. After that, the Playboy Mansion could be rechristened in a way that replaces the crass with class.

I would imagine it will never have the opportunity to be *cool* because Hef will probably leave it to the historical society being the ….narcissist that he is. I wonder if someone has written a book yet on that house with all it’s…guests, someone should consider that…great post.

At first glance one would say cool, as it is a beautiful home from the exterior..however going inside its almost as creepy at Hef himself (he has given me the creeps for decades) but those beds made my skin crawl, the gross carpeted love nest, yuck! The bathroom is one I couldnt’ even bring myself to use, the only pretty rooms are the dining room and the living room though not crazy about the furnishings. I feel like they need a huge decontamination crew to march in there with their white suits, rip up all the nasty carpeting, change out the hideous wood paneling in the bathrooms and repalce it with white marble and give the placea serious makeover along with a good scrubbing.The indoor pool/grotto..major skincrawl! I can only imagine all the germs it must be infested with. This is my fanatical/germ freak side talking here but honestly some of those pictures kind of made my skin crawl…so sorry to say its a fool. You asked for our opinions and you got them, Luciane!! No holding back….lol
