Italian Villa

Have you ever dreamed of living in an Italian villa? This is the kind of house that wows you from every angle. The gardens are so enchanting that it’s hard to believe something like this actually exists. The views are heavenly, the interiors are simply dreamy. The furnishings selected couldn’t be any better, and the charm? Well, the charm simply captures your senses.

I wonder as I see this place…  have we found “perfection”?

  Shutters

Shutters are a must-have on villas.

Doors

The first thing you see as you enter the house is…

The Dining Room

Those chandeliers!

Living Room

Classic pieces are always the best choice when furnishing a home.

Kitchen

Oh, the beams and the arch! Don’t we love them?

Cuccina

It feels so cozy. I’d love to cook in this kitchen.

Family Room

The family room has a warm feel, maybe because it’s not huge.

Mezzanine

I love, love, love the furniture and the color palette of this room.

Master Bedroom

Dreamy!

Master Bathroom

The pebble flooring and the exposed walls will make any heart beat a little faster!

Guest Bedroom

An interesting combination of black and red.

Guest Bathroom

It feels much more modern than the rest of the house. Deep soaking tub. I wish I was there!

Guest Bedroom

It opens to the garden, my friends! How nice is that?

Console

Consoles can become great desks when you don’t have much space.

Patio

Have we found the most beautiful patio ever?

Gardens

The views!

An Idea

The ideal idea…

Views

There isn’t a problem that can’t melt away the moment you see this.

Only Two

A romantic place. Parlemo Italiano, amore!

Skies

Just like a painting…

I’m not ready to wake up from this dream yet….

Did you enjoy your weekend? I can’t believe how fast it flew by! And I wonder why time is flying so fast…  It seems that time used to go by so slowly when we were kids. Maybe it happened because we actually had time on our hands and we could play. When was the last time you played? When was the last time you just laid in bed and daydreamed? When was the last time you drew a picture, painted or wrote what is in your heart? When was the last time you called a friend and talked for hours? When was the last time you cried on your mother’s shoulder?

Life is spinning too fast because we stopped doing things that connect us to our true self, to our roots.

Have the goal to do something this week that you haven’t done for a long time, something that makes you feel happy, like a kid once again.

  6. It IS fabulous!! Any idea what year it dates to? Reminds me of Frances Mayes house in Tuscany!

  7. This place is simply stunning, Luciane! I love Italian villas. This one has great old world charm, but also has the wonderful modern amenities. The kitchen and bathroom are fabuous! The entire outdoor area couldn’t possibly be anymore picturesque.

You are right. Time does just seem to fly by so fast now that I am adult. We meet up with my parents occasionally for a day of shopping, and one of the best parts of the day is having a cup of coffee and just talking with them. I know that someday I won’t be able to do that with them, and I want to enjoy that while I can.
