A move from California to Minnesota brought this couple to interior designer Bria Hammel of Bria Hammel Interiors. With two equally strong points of view in the mix – the feminine and the masculine – the designer married the two and created a home that feels cheerful, bright and sophisticated yet also comfortable. It was important to the clients that the designer kept the interiors light and airy, while incorporating warmth throughout the home for those long winter months.
The clients love to entertain large groups and when family is in town they are always hosting, so having ample seating was important to accommodate their lifestyle. The balance between warm woods, white cabinetry and soft colors in the décor made this space inviting.
This home is a great example of how new classic interiors can look timeless without feeling stuffy. Take notes on paint colors and decor sources shared by the designer. As you will see here, this post is full of inspiring ideas!
