Newest High Gloss Magazine Issue

The newest issue of High Gloss magazine just came out and I had to share it with your guys because it’s a really good one! If you love summer, Los Angeles, fashion and colorful interiors, this issue is for you! I was so pleased to see so many talented designers and spaces that truly get you in the mood for summer.

Paloma Contreras, the co-founder and editor in chief did a tremendous job with some fantastic interviews. I enjoyed reading all the articles and seeing what Lauren Conrad keeps inside her bag!

I hope you enjoy taking a look at some of my favorite pictures inside this magazine!

Oi, Luciane, como vai, tudo bem?
Lindo post, esta revista é um show de cores, não é?
Adorei os cantos que você intitulou Shades, Couro e Vigas e Cartas de Amor.
Beijos e um ótimo dia prá você.

  8. Luciane, you have picked the perfect images for this post from High Gloss. They are lovely. My favorite is the mirrored dressing table with the view and the stunning light fixture.

What a pretty magazine! The only one I read every month is O, Oprah’s magazine which doesn’t have architecture or interior design much, but it’s still wonderful to look at.

On a side note, I’d really like to see simple, functional gyms in the country modern / cottage chic style. I don’t see too many open, appealing gyms in other architecture sites period. Homes that have cutting-edge design will sometimes have a gym with an elliptical machine, exercise bike, and a bunch of clunky weight machinery that looks like Muscle Beach from the 70s and with no room to move around. A simple design and open space make workouts more appealing, effective and enjoyable. For example: space for jump roping, aerobics, and/or plyometrics; a range of 2-12 pound dumbbells; pilates bands; maybe a ballet bar on the wall; mini trampoline; swiss ball; any other compact and versatile equipment.

One I’ve seen that is neat is from Gwyneth Paltrow’s Hamptons home (she has a pilates contraption that seems nice, but is not necessary).

  10. Hi Timothy,

I agree with you. Gyms are scarce in the interior design world simply because most of them don’t look good. They are just thrown into a mirrored room and that’s it. Not very appealing. I’d love to transform an average gym into a pleasurable and inviting space to work out. I can see it and I know it’s totally possible.

  13. I really enjoyed this issue. The magenta dining room chairs have gotten me thinking that something similar would look REALLY good in my house. Now I just need to get the hubs on board :)

Great post with lots of pretty pics. Your comment about the nursery inspiring you made me think of another blogger who is about to have her second baby and painted yellow and white stripes on the ceiling of the nursery. The walls were blue. Brilliant! Diary of a Yummy Mummy if you want to check it out.

    Love, love your blog!
