I came across this fabulous house designed by the talented interior designer Alexa Hampton while reading “Architectural Digest”. The house in Bridgehampton, New York, was bought by a young family of four and totally renovated and designed by Alexa. The new owners were seeking for a peaceful place to rest on the weekends. Only weekends? That’s right. How can you leave this house?

I hope you’ve enjoyed this outstanding house. I believe that if I had a house like this one I would be a little bit (I am being nice to myself) neurotic with all of this white. I have two small children and I know that they can leave little cute, but dirty hand marks everywhere. In that case, I know you can use good fabrics. I guess you learn to live with all of that white. Yes, it wouldn’t be bad to get used to all of this, huh?

Wow, that exterior roof line just makes me swoon. This is a house that would be hard to leave, but it would sure be a treat to drive up to and know you had the weekend to yourself.
The kitchen is divine! I love the all white with the dark of the floor and the lanterns. They absolutely pop. The light colors are so serene and yet it feels warm and welcoming. Thanks for sharing and for visiting. I am actually out of town, but was lucky enough to get the internet tonight!
