Inspired by the beach houses we often find in the Hamptons, this Scandinavian beach house is currently for sale. Located in Hemmeslöv Beach, this Scandinavian house has the ocean as its backyard and so many stunning features inside.
Created in a specific architectural way that combines the American approach to design with the light and bright Scandinavian style that can be appealing to many of us. This house has horizontal wood paneling, shutters, slate and antique tumbled limestone floors, which are a unique feature for the area of Båstad, where this Scandinavian home is located.
Scandinavian interiors are usually very neutral, thanks to their light walls and furniture, so if like white interiors, I know you’ll love this Scandinavian home.
Always make your home feel inviting with a beautiful front door and outdoor lighting.
This home has a wonderful flow between its main rooms. Notice the built-in by the fireplace dividing the rooms and adding some useful storage.
This is such a wonderful kitchen. I love how everything was kept simple and natural.
The choice of material are the point focus in this space and they exude quality. I especially love the limestone floors and adore the stools.
Stunning fireplace, beams and floors.
How charming is this? I know many of us crave warm and colorful interiors, but I can’t help but wish I lived in a very open and bright home like this one. These floors are incredible!
You don’t need a big backyard, you just need to design it right.
Let’s go for a stroll.

Did you guys have a good weekend? We had a peaceful and finally, relaxing weekend! We organized some things for Matthew’s birthday next Sunday, but we also had time to do absolutely nothing! Don’t you love those moments?
We also started a new Christmas tradition with the kids. Have you ever heard of the “Elf on a Shelf“? Oh, my goodness! It’s the sweetest thing ever and if you have small children I really recommend you to take a look at it. Have your child/children ever wondered how Santa knows who’s nice and who’s naughty? The Elf on a Shelf is Santa’s helper and he’ comes to our house to watch the kids’ behavior during this time. The kids can tell the elf about their Christmas wishes and he’ll deliver the news to Santa every night. After doing he’s job, he comes back, and usually chooses a new spot to seat at.
All I have to say is that my kids are so happy about this and they’re behaving incredibly well lately. I know they will have more questions about Santa soon (they’re growing up so fast!), but we thought it would be really great for them to build new memories during this special time of their childhood.
This is the best moment to believe in dreams and I hope they’ll bring these special moments in their hearts when they grow up.
