Sexy And The City 2 Interiors

I just couldn’t wait  for  the second “Sexy and the City” movie. I was missing the girls on the streets New York City, but I also wanted to see how the “Sexy in the City” interiors would be this time around. I loved the first Sex and The City movie and its interiors, and you can’t complain about the series. So, I was curious… and wow! Lydia Marks did the job!

I’ve enjoyed every second of this movie. Especially Carrie’s &  Big’s new apartment.

The “Sexy and the City 2” interiors were very stylish and the furnishings were more tailored. The set decorator Lydia Marks (Marks & Frantz), created a space that blends masculine elements, such as linear midcentury furnishings and dark woods, adding a feminine touch with accessories and fabrics.

Start saving! Some pieces from Carrie and Big’s apartment are for sale!

I LOVE the wallpaper. The height of the table lamps and mirror are so important here and they’re perfect, totally balanced.

Have you noticed the butterflies? So “Carrie”.

Not a cheap one, but definitely very classy!  This chandelier from Big and Carrie’s library is made with handblown glass and 14-carat gold foil and gold murrine. The  lighting fixture is for sale at Lindsey Adelman’s Web site; $15,360. A showstopper and a wallet breaker! 😉

The Designer Lydia Marks calls the above armchairs from Bergdorf Goodman, “the centerpiece of Big and Carrie’s living room.”

Carrie’s New Closet.

This is a very nice and more grown up closet. Carrie shares it with Big. Her clothes stays mostly on the right and his on the left.  The clothes in Carrie’s new closet are all from Net-A-Porter.

The “treasure chest” is super girly and it’s a dream to every girl. Her old closet was filled with her wardrobe from the TV series and the first movie. Runner:  Margherita runner by the Rug Company. One word: GORGEOUS!

If you haven’t seen the sequel yet, it will come on DVD October 26th! Get your friends, have a Martini Party and send me the pics after!
