Nothing is more refreshing than walking into a happy coastal kitchen, and this beach house kitchen with turquoise decor, designed by Jackie Armour of JMA Interior Design, embraces a feeling of happiness and relaxation that is truly contagious.
Starting with a color palette that seems to carry the beach right inside of your home and a layout that is perfect for family living, there is nothing missing in this kitchen. I honestly can easily see myself cooking for my family here while the kids are eating some snacks and talking at that practical and beautiful t-shaped island.
How about we start this week seeing colors and spaces that can make us feel a little more positive? I’m up for it… are you?!
Beach House Kitchen with Turquoise Decor
A T-shaped kitchen island makes everything easier for the chef of the house. You have the island used just for cooking and a separate eating area. This allows more space to prepare the food.
Paradise Found
The table features the same countertop material found in the other surfaces in this kitchen; white quartz. White quartz is always an affordable and very durable option, and I often recommend it to clients with small children and for those who want a low-maintenance countertop.
Coastal Decor
Coastal colors and textures add a happy feel to this kitchen.

Kitchen Backsplash
The big star of this kitchen is the turquoise 1″ x 4″ shimmery backsplash tile. I love it!
Details in Turquoise
Turquoise accents beautifully brings more color and that coastal charm that we love. Notice the farmhouse sink, the hardwood flooring and the window treatment. Isn’t this kitchen perfect?
Hello, my wonderful friends! It’s really great to start this brand new week with you here.
I have so much planned for this week! To be very honest I haven’t done much with my Christmas shopping and I have my youngest son’s birthday coming soon. So, I will be pretty busy for the next few days.
Did you guys started shopping for Christmas yet? I know people that are already done! I wish I was that disciplined! LOL Maybe I will be more like that when the kids are much older and I have more time… time is something I feel that I NEVER have enough. I guess it’s pretty normal and honestly speaking, I love being busy with things and people I love. I might get pretty tired, but I often go to sleep with a smile on my face. 🙂
I really hope you have a Blessed week. May you start this week feeling healthy, feeling loved and feeling good about yourself. Remember to be kind… be kind to others, to the people you meet, the people you work with, the people your love, but, remember especially to be kind to yourself. Let’s learn to stop blaming ourselves whenever something doesn’t go right. Sometimes we need to take the wrong turn to find the right path.
Be forgiving. Love always grows with forgiveness.
