Living With Color

When renovating this 1900′s San Francisco house, the owners didn’t know how much work it would take to transform it into their dream home, but they knew one thing: they wanted to have color! Having said that, they contacted interior designer Julie Massucco Kleiner to help them choose the best option for them.

The result is a very bright, colorful home that makes you wonder if you would have the same courage to use some of these colors in your own home. I can definitely appreciate the beauty the colors chosen here brought into their house.

Enjoy!

Living Room

Most of the vibrant colors were chosen by the husband, including the carmine-pink theme in the living room.

Sexy Red

This chair is a stunner!

Doggy Friendly

Oh, what a life!

Window

Nicely done and I really like the idea of using a console by the window rather than a sofa, especially when you don’t have many windows to let the light in.

Dining Room

This traditional dining room got some excitement with the vibrant curtains and contemporary art.

Tears of Joy

Gorgeous detail of the chandelier.

Kitchen

This is a really great kitchen. Color is added with accessories and the stools. Smart idea!

Nook

I think this is my favorite place in this house. I love how comfortable and stylish it looks.

Master Bedroom

Surprisingly more neutral than the other rooms in the house, but it makes sense since it’s a bedroom.

Bathroom

Truly charming!

Guest Bedroom

I hope you like wallpaper if you’re invited to stay over in this house.

Blue

I know this wallpaper can be overwhelming if you aren’t crazy about it, but I think it brings a lot of interest to this guest bedroom, and the bed is really pretty.

So, what’s your opinion of this house? Could you live with all of these colors? Leave a comment letting me know your thoughts on this place. I always love hearing from you!

See tomorrow, everyone! :-)
