Have you ever dreamed of owning a cottage abroad? How about Spain?
Designed by Belén Campos, an interior designer from Barcelona, this rustic cottage once was a country cottage from the 1600′s. The owners bought the place, in ruins, because they fell in love with the land that offered mountainous country vistas.
Patience and persistence were needed to accomplish the conclusion of this cottage that was finally ready after four long years. While the cottage was being meticulously built by local artisans, they had time to carefully select original and restored materials.
The result is impressive. This is a cottage that was done with so much care and attention to detail, from its architecture to its rich interiors with patina, antiques and flea-market finds.
