Designed by Santa Rosa Beach, Florida architect Geoff Chick and located only blocks from the ocean, this Florida beach house has some impressive authentic interiors that perfectly integrate a soft color palette with original interior ideas.
This architect added some dramatic architectural details throughout the house and wisely incorporated reclaimed wood in an otherwise quite modern environment.
Another big factor in this Florida Beach house is the fabulous gray kitchen. You will see it and you’ll tell me if this isn’t one of your newest favorite kitchen designs.
Refreshing and innovative, this place integrates the best in design in a sophisticated way.
Florida Beach House with Authentic Interiors
Welcoming and dramatic. I love the enclosed courtyard and the screen porches.
This porch is very inviting and it would be great to spend a summer afternoon here.
The main floor feels open and it has some interesting decor.
Family Room Design
Beautiful relaxed coastal furniture.
I really like the entire space… there’s a great flow between the dining area and the beautifully appointed gray kitchen.
The kitchen cabinets are entirely custom-made.
I really like the fact the architect decided to bring the range to the side wall, instead of the middle point. Doing it this way, he had space to add two more windows in this kitchen.
Important factors like this are often unnoticed when we’re seeing homes, but it’s very important for us to educate ourselves and see how much our interiors can improve when experienced architects are involved in the project.
Hardwood floors are antique reclaimed white oak.
The architect really knows how to add a hint of the past without sacrificing sophistication.
These built-ins are more costly than average closets to build, but they add so much charm, don’t they?
A simple approach with a relaxing color scheme is the main reason why this bedroom feels so attractive.
French doors open to a screened porch.
I really like the seamless look of this bathroom.

This guest house/poolhouse is full of character and beauty, just like the main house.
What a fun idea of adding a sliding barn door.
The side view of the guest house.
Back of the House
I honestly love the architecture of this house. It’s so appealing and original.
And if the architecture alone didn’t do it for you, this pool just might…
You don’t need to own a full acre to have the backyard of your dreams! A private “oasis” was beautifully integrated in this rather small space.
What do you think of this house? Could you move right in or would you change some things around?

Oh, it’s so chilly here today! We’re expecting snow for this weekend and I am not sure if I am ready for it yet, especially after seeing that pool and talking about Florida!
Enjoy your day, my friends! Regardless of how it’s looking outside!
