As soon I saw this house I simply fell in love with it. I just can’t get enough of its charm and beauty. Everything is appealing to me, but the oak trees outside is what make this property a real gem. This house located in Montecito, California was built c. 1912 and it was beautifully renovated to keep the old-world feel to it but with modern amenities. It has everything one can dream, 6 bedrooms, 4 & 1/2 bathrooms, formal living room, dining room, library, breakfast room, a amazing country kitchen, family room, guesthouse with a studio/gym and lush gardens.

So beautiful! They chose a great color and I love that its doesn’t feel too “new”. Perfect for this type of house.

Gorgeous paneled walls and celling. This rug is great too!

Wonderful natural light.
Master Bedroom
Fireplace in a bedroom is very cozy. I love the color on the wall and the views.
Guest Bedrrom
Doesn’t it feel like a perfect cottage bedroom?
Boys
More wall paneling. Whenever I see a house like this, with gorgeous wood paneling it makes me want to have it at home too.
Gardens
Lots of space and lots of green.
Talking about “green”, how much you think a house like this one would cost in Montecito? Even in a very difficult market this house will cost you about $ 3,395,000. But when compared to my last post about real estate (here) it’s still pretty reasonable for California. What do you think?
