Located in La Jolla, California and designed by Erika Gervin’s of South Harlow Interiors (previously featured here), this home was recently purchased by the client and they wanted the designer to create interiors that felt perfect for entertaining and hanging out.
I hope this relaxed coastal home makes you feel a little happier and more relaxed today… 🙂
Featuring a fairly neutral color scheme with hints of blues, aqua and greys, this home feels relaxing and inviting at the same time.
Living with neutral colors doesn’t mean it needs to be boring or lack on personality. Here, the designer added plenty of layers and accessories that personalized the space.

Adding a pair of coffee tables is a great way to make a large living room feel grounded. Coffee tables are CFC.
The saddle leather ottomans are Selamat.

Ceilings feature beams and Tongue and Groove, painted in a crisp white paint color.
The fireplace is clad in a brick tile and Flagstone hearth.

I love the simplicity of this fireplace. “Benjamin Moore HC-173 Edgecomb Gray” is a similar paint color.
