Yes, I said it! She is my favorite!!! I know, maybe I shouldn’t say it because Canada has so many GREAT interior designers and I love so many of them, but Sarah’s work speaks directly to me. Her style is very calming, a mixture of new and old, zen-like furniture, sophisticate meets casual and, definitely CLASSY.
Sarah Richardson has four hit shows on HGTV: Sarah 101, Room service, Design Inc. and Sarah’s House. She also design gorgeous furniture and has a new line of paint. She’s definitely a busy gal.
I dream about having a cottage by the sea, and here is my inspiration for it, by Sarah Richardson:
I simply love the mix of the chairs and the bench. Gorgeous colors!
Simply Cottage… simple life.
I love the lantern and the backsplash. Check the antiqued wood paneling.
The Living Room
This is totally perfection for me. I love that VIEW, the water and the indoors! It’s amazing how she connects it all by choosing the right colors. The living room feels cozy & comfortable.
You can’t leave the “blues” out of a cottage. Blue, cream, white… so classic!
All You Can’t Leave Behind
This is a room that I would “cry” if I had to leave.
This is what a good interior design always do; connects all the elements by using color and texture.
Those chairs! Just bring my best friends and some wine!
Art is everywhere.
Gorgeous mix of blue and greens. I also love the rug.
Some cheap & Chic.
Again, connecting the outdoors with indoors: river stones in the shower.
A solar powered piece of paradise in Canada!

I know that summer is basically gone, but this cottage is just another remind of how beautiful a sunny day can be.
Have a Blessed week, everyone and we’ll talk again tomorrow!
