Happy new week, my wonderful friends! I am so happy to have you on the blog today! Thank you so much for stopping by and I certainly hope this “Beautiful Homes of Instagram”, filled with inspiring Christmas Decor, brings plenty of happiness to your day!
It’s always great to share the many homes I find on Instagram and having Ashley of @modernglamhome for the second time on Home Bunch is truly a treat! You might recall seeing her house tour back in September when she shared her beautifully decorated home for Fall. Today, Ashley is back to show us how she decorates for Christmas and you won’t be disappointed. She nailed it!
Do yourself a favor… wait until the house is quiet, grab a cup of hot cocoa and find a cozy spot to read this post. This Christmas Decor house tour is as sweet as it can get! 😉
“Hi! I’m Ashley from Modern Glam and I am so excited to share with you my home decorated for the holidays. I absolutely love Christmas and get so excited to decorate my home with twinkle lights, glitter and seasonal accents.
This year I added lots of vintage items that I have collected over the years. There’s just something so nostalgic about these old finds that I have always loved. Come on in and let me show you around!”
“My front porch decor this year is much simpler than in years past. I am going to a somewhat minimalist farmhouse look infused with a ton of color.”
Front door is by Pella.
Outdoor Sconce: Rejuvenation.
“I used a simple faux garland draped around my door and added these nostalgic ceramic colored lights. I love the traditional glow they add. I made this fun and colorful pom pom wreath and it is so fun for the holidays.”

“I like to add some twinkle lights to any outdoor plants and update the pillows on my porch for the season. These are simple ways you can add some holiday decor to your front porch.”
Faux Cedar Tree: McGee & Co.
The porch hanging chairs are from Serena & Lily.
“Our entryway holds our family piano. This is a perfect spot to add some garland and bottlebrush trees.”
I also added a fresh fir garland to the entryway to our kitchen. I will pin Christmas cards to this with mini clothespins.
We recently added these beautiful built-in cabinets and window-seat to our kitchen. I updated the cushions with some holiday pillows and draped some faux greenery above the window.
Door Wreath: Anthrolologie.
This cozy and welcoming breakfast nook features a custom banquette and a tulip dining table from Design within Reach.

I love creating a pretty table for the holidays. This vintage modern tablescape features plaid plates and an easy faux garland centerpiece that I added fresh greenery to. This adds volume and texture and is a great way to add length too!
The red candles and the vintage brass candle holders bring a vintage feel to this Christmas tablescape that really warms your heart.

Our Christmas tree is decorated in shades of pink and red this year. I absolutely love the combination and it definitely has a vintage vibe.
I used my collection of vintage ornaments along with new bulbs to create this pink Christmas tree.
I have been collecting vintage ornaments for over 20 years so I have a lot!
I even have a jar filled with them so I can admire the individuality of each one.
I updated the floating shelves that flank our television with bottlebrush trees and some seasonal artwork.
Flocked Christmas Tree: Wayfair.
I love our vintage inspired fireplace mantel this year. Our new mirror is layered with a Christmas canvas and the mantel is draped with faux greenery. Bottlebrush trees and vintage ornaments complete the look.

Stockings are from Anthropologie.
There’s nothing more important than creating a home where your loved ones can be happy at!
Even Romeo seems to be loving the festive Christmas decor around the house! 🙂
My daughter’s room got a little Christmas love this year too!
We added this cute little flocked tree we found at Target this year. I placed the tree in a tall basket that I found at HomeGoods.
Her pink tree is so cute in the basket and she loves the collection of Christmas books that are at hand for nighttime reading.
