How would your dream home be like? Would it be by a sandy beach, on a mountain, in the country, a villa in Italy, or would it be an apartment in Manhattan or Paris perhaps? Everybody always dreams of having a house looking like this or like that, and even if we already live in our dream home, we’re always dreaming of doing something different with it, and honestly, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. That happens because we’re always seeing something new, always wanting to improve the look and comfort of our space or simply because we get tired of our things eventually. I know we should appreciate what we have and where we are, I really mean it when I say it, but at the same time I think it’s so fun to just let our imagination go far away to places we’d love to be. This house for example is where I wish I could be in this exact moment so I could escape this winter. So, what could be better than picturing myself in this gorgeous home in Malibu? Are you ready to dream with me?
Carbon Beach House
Before we get inside of this “pure perfection” home I need to tell you some facts about it, ok? I first saw this house when it was still for sale with the realtor Chis Cortazzo for the huge price tag of $57 million. When I saw that I first thought that no one would really pay that much for it, no matter if it’s on one of the best beaches in Malibu. And, guess what? I was right! The house was sold not too long ago for 36,969,000 according to Pricey Pads. I still can not even picture that much money going to a house, but still, there’s a big difference here. But what really makes me love this place is the interiors. Everything is done to P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N! I love every room and every decor used here.
Let me know if you agree with me.
Welcome to My Dream Home
I know a blogger shouldn’t be speechless but I am in this case!
These rustic chairs add so much charm and it’s a great contrast to the other furnishings and I also love the vintage rug.
To The Other Side
Yes, it’s white, cream, it’s airy and very, very elegant.
Aren’t you also falling in love? This living room feels dramatic and at the same time it feels cozy and very natural.
All the furnishings in this house are very comfortable and beautiful at the same time. I love the presence of this room.
First Sitting Area
When encountering a really big space you should divide it in two or more sitting areas, so you create a better feeling to it.
Second Sitting Area
Informal yet beautiful.
I simply adore this dining room. The chairs are perfect for a beach house, the rug goes beautifully with the table, pendant and sconces.
Still as elegant as the rest of the house, but nothing too precious and that’s the secret of a great design. If something feels too precious, it feels unlivable and if it feels that way, it isn’t welcoming.
I’m sure this room was inspired by the sandy beach just outside. I love how serene this house feels.
By the Fire
I love fireplaces and this one is an amazing one.
It’s huge yet it feels that you can cook and talk to your family at the same time. Everybody can spend quality time in this space.
A Real Home
Which tray would you go for? The donuts or grapes? I’d go for the chocolate cake! Did you see that? 🙂
Every detail counts.
The architecture of this house is really amazing! Towels for the beach… how thoughtful!
A perfect spot to read a book or just sit and feel the ocean’s breeze coming inside the house.
My Dream Master
This is my dream right here and I’m speechless again! Not only is it gorgeous inside, but how would you feel waking up every day to this view? Oh, please… I’d never need a vacation.
It’s romantic and stylish at the same time. Note the plates. Love it!
A Desk, A Letter
Everywhere you look, you see beauty and serenity. Gorgeous antique desk.
This feels like a very chic cottage.
Just for Now
Stop anything you’re doing and just picture yourself here, sitting there and looking outside to the ocean.
Everything in this bathroom feels pretty and feminine. It’s the perfect place to take care of yourself.
I love how they added comfort to every single room in this house, including the bathroom.
Living in Malibu
Would you call it “paradise”?
What a mirror!
This house is gorgeous inside-out!
Who would you invite to sit here with you?
How can you not feel inspired and relaxed when seeing the picture above?
I simply can’t wait to know how you feel seeing this house! And thank you so much for your visit to HomeBunch. You’re truly appreciated for coming here.
I hope you start this week thinking of how many blessings you have in your life. I’m going to try to do it, too. Sometimes we all forget how fortunate we are, even if we don’t have a house like the above, right? 😉
