Lovely, you are always smiling
Hiding away all of your scars
Opening your heart and your doors so all can come and open their problems to you.
Here you are, and here you always will be.
Mother,
For so long I miss you.
Mother,
For so long I wish I could be in your arms.
Mother,
For many times I forgot to say how proud I am of all of your decisions.
With you I have learned to be a better person
I have learned I need to smile more and stop feeding the problems.
Mother,
I love myself better every time I see your face when I look at the mirror.
And Mother,
I thank you for your sacrifices.
I thank you, Mother for your advice.
But most importantly, I thank you for your smile
Because that always takes me away from any difficulties I may be encountering,
And makes me stronger than I really am.
