The front door opens directly into a spacious open layout space housing the foyer, living room, and dining room. Having an open layout is always desirable, but it also creates the challenge of ensuring that all spaces are cohesively decorated while maintaining comfort for everyday family life. The designer successfully met all these criteria in this home renovation.

Having a formal dining room is becoming increasingly uncommon in new constructions today. If your home is from a time when formal dining rooms were a must, you should consider yourself lucky to have this extra space. I feel that formal dining rooms cannot only host beautiful moments, but they also help to transform special occasions into even more memorable experiences. Additionally, formal dining rooms provide a dedicated space free from everyday distractions, allowing guests to focus on the joy of connection and conversation.
In this dining room, the designer renovated the fireplace by adding neutral stone along with a box beam mantel. New lighting and trendy yet timeless furniture pieces elevate the entire space.

Now, let’s explore the most talked-about and often budget-heavy room in any home renovation: the kitchen! The designer has created a kitchen that boasts a practical layout while exuding a timeless vibe. White cabinets are complemented by warm neutral quartz countertops and a White Oak island that is not too small nor too big, which is something I appreciate. Sometimes I feel that some kitchens we see now are getting a bit too big. Does anyone else feel the same way?
