I’m sure you have seen some beautiful rustic houses before, and so did I, but somehow, this house sticks to our mind. I believe this house is truly special because the interiors were done in a subtle way, leaving the architecture speak for itself.
A truly rustic house should expose many savage materials and do it in ways that are attractive and effective. I respect the idea of using recycled wood floors, beams and other materials. They not only add character and patina to the house, but they also contribute for a more environmental friendly building.
This particular rustic house has amazing wood beamed ceilings and if you read my blog, you know much I love them. It also has an incredible outdoor area and its own winery.
Take a look. I hope it makes you dream while you’re here.
Rustic House

A nice view of the main house and guest house.
Living Room

Stunning in every detail. I love the beams and also the built-ins.
Kitchen

Interesting mix of rustic and industrial. Notice the gorgeous savage floors and beams.
Dining Room

The feeling you get is of grandeur in a simple way.
Family Room

There’s a distinct flow between the three main rooms of the house. I especially love the ceiling and the huge doors to the gardens.
Master Bedroom

I love serene bedrooms. This master has a very calm vibe to it.
Sitting Area

Separate sitting areas are fantastic. One can watch TV while the other sleeps.
Guest Bedroom

Great bed and fantastic views.
Study

I miss reading books by the fire. I can’t wait for that!
Wine Room

Plenty of space! Don’t you think?
Patio

They added beams even here. I love the idea!
Outdoor Fireplace

This is one of the best outdoor areas I’ve seen. I love it!
Pool

Is there anything more relaxing than this? Oh, wait! I forgot about that wine room… π
Guest House

The stunning guest house.
Table

I love the over-sized barn style doors.
Bedroom

Lovely and very welcoming. What guest would want to leave after seeing this room?
Home Office

A peaceful and quiet place to work.
Vegetable Garden

This place is so perfect that it even has a vegetable garden.
Winery

Life doesn’t get much better than this…

Isn’t this place perfect inside and out? I love the peacefulness you seem to feel in this home. I think we all should try to live in a place where we feel at peace.

Did you have a pleasant weekend? We had a great Saturday. We went to buy the kids’ Halloween costumes and it was a long day. After that, we went to have dinner at our favorite Japanese restaurant ( I loveeee Japanese food, btw!) and it was fantastic.
How about your weekend? Did you do anything interesting?
Have a blessed week and thank you for dropping by today.
I hope you had fun! π

I think those are the most beautiful floors I have ever seen!
I love Japanese food too! We go to hibachi for every special occasion. LOVE it!
This is one of my favorite houses. I love it. It’s large and spacious but still feels cozy. Very soothing.

Wow this is a great house, such a good vibe. Love the open spaces…its like being on vacation in Napa valley!
I remember Halloween costume buying..oh the decisions to be made, I miss it terribly and I love Japanese food..could live on sushi!
Love the house. I think I like the guest house’s bedroom better than the main house’s master bedroom.
What a warm and cozy space, perfect Autumn feel to it.

I love that house! Love the mix of old and new and they’ve still made it family friendly.

I love this one! So many elements that feed my style and taste… rustic meets red wine π
How are you my friend? Love this house. Makes me want to move out of the city. I think I’m finally back to blogging. π
Oh, how serene! A beautiful place without being “over the top”…..my kind of living! Sushi, eh, even out there! π
Does anyone have any idea what those wood floors are called? Are they some type of antique oak???
wonderful place, I love everything except the rugs for some reason seem wrong to me…
Wow, beautiful. I know why it sticks in your mind. It will be sticking in mine as well π It’s very well done and of course the view takes your breath away.
