Creating new interiors design ideas is not an easy task and as an interior designer I feel that no matter how many innovative ideas for interiors there are out there, we always end up keeping the classics.
In this post I am mixing many styles, from traditional to transitional to modern. It’s a mix that, even though the styles are distinctively different, somehow feel connected to each other.
I hope you take a break this weekend, get some inspiration and plenty of relaxing me time. So lay down, get comfy and dream away!

Hi! How are you today? I hope your week was good and that your weekend is even better.
My week was interesting. Like I mentioned a couple of days ago, I went to see a doctor on Wednesday. I have had a pain in my stomach for more than a year now and my family doctor suspected it was ulcer. I went to see the specialist yesterday (finally!) and he said it seems that this pain is caused by stress or by food allergies, such as gluten and lactose. He asked me to eliminate (or at least diminish) lactose or gluten for three months to see if this pain disappears. Now, he’s asking this to me? I can’t live without bread! I went to buy a gluten free bread at costco and it’s beyond horrible, not only the taste but the texture as well. I’m going to do some shopping today at a natural food store and I hope they have better options there.
The good news is that he’s allowing me to drink coffee again. I had a cup yesterday and today and it was heavenly.
Is there any of you going on through the same thing? I will try to find some recipes and read more about this, but any input, tips are very welcome.
Can you tell I am not very happy w/ this situation? LOL Not eating bread, pasta, drink milk? Huh? Ok, I will take a deep breath and see what I can eat from the list he gave me… I have to keep thinking positive and look at the big picture, which is to feel better.
I hope you guys have a great weekend… and eat all the bread you can for me. 🙂
Big hugs to each and every one of you.
with Love,
Luciane at HomeBunch.com

I so look forward to all the beautiful, inspiring pictures you post. It is a wonderful escape, so thank you! I hope you are able to find some satisfying food options! Life without coffee or bread stinks!
Oh my, feel better Luciane! I know 3 months seems like a long time, but it will be worth it to get to the bottom of the pain you’ve had (a year is too long!) I cut refined sugar from my diet and feel so much better. Sending you healing vibes.
Love every post! I pin much of what you post. So many good ideas.
I stay away from gluten as well and at first it was very hard. You get used to it after a few weeks. There are more options out there now than ever before. I’ve found that making my own bread using the gluten free flour from Costco as substitute for regular flour in my recipe has been the best option. A lot out there tastes like a sponge. Feel better!
Fantastical!! franki
Hi!!!:))
I check your website everyday and am inspired all the time by everything that you post!!:)
Thanks so much!
Sooooo, I read a book, years ago, called “when the body says NO!” by Dr Gabor tate. I HIGHLY recommend it for your issues. It will absolutely help you re-evaluate how you deal and handle your stress and you will find that you will no longer let it manifest itself internally. As you likely know, stress can cause much of what you are dealing with in regards to emotional and health distress. This book will really help you in so many great ways. And, its such and easy read….which I love!:))
I wish you all the best of health and wellness moving forward!
Keep the amazing website rolling!!:) I just love it!!
Blessings
Luciane, so glad you are trying to take care of yourself! I would hate the no French bread idea but it would be worth it if you feel better.
Thanks for all these beautiful photos…and you are so great at getting sources!!!
