Hello everyone! How are you doing today? I’m late with today’s post because we were affected by the big snow storm and had problems with the internet connection. I don’t even have to tell how frustrated I was, right? But thank goodness the internet is normal today and I could prepare this for you. I hope you enjoy!

As you know, I often like to share homes that are elegant but always approachable. And even though this house feels rustic in many rooms, others are embraced by a more elegant style.

The beauty of this house, designed by Jauregui Architects in Austin, is the perfect combination of comfort and style, where any family would be happy to call it home.

Rustic Family Home

This rustic family home in Austin, Texas, is just over 8,200 square feet.

Living Room

Clean lines and attention to details have made this living room picture perfect!

Chair

I always like seeing surprising patterns on classic chairs.

Dining Room

A touch of industrial comes with the concrete floors. The wood from the chairs, table and ceilings are brought to make this space feel warmer.

Library

I love this room. It’s chic, fun and young!

Kitchen

I love the natural elements you find in this kitchen. The floors are incredible! The pendants can be purchased through Circa Lighting. These are Bronze with White Glass shades.

Stools

The stool is called “Lexington Twilight Bay Dalton” and it can be found here. A more affordable, but still very similar product, can be found here.

Eating Area

You guys know how much I love round tables, right? I think they bring people together and has a better energy flow. This table is from Restoration Hardware. Rug is Safavieh Soho 525B (round). Chair is from Hickory White.

Family Room

The coffee table was custom designed by Bausman & Company.

Comfort

Great floor plan! The usage of two chaises and two comfortable chairs replace sofas.

Staircase

What a stunning combination of stylish and rustic materials! The floors are stained concrete.

Wood & Iron

Beautiful work.

Powder Room

Nice mirrored vanity and door.

Bedroom

How peaceful! Rug is from West Elm.

Built-in

Perfectly designed.

Bed

 The bed is Thomas O’Brian Collection by Hickory Chair.

Bathroom

Timeless choice of materials were made for the master bathroom.

Teen Bedroom

This room is perfect for a teen. It’s fun, not too serious and masculine without being overly done.

Guest Bedroom

Pure elegance can be found here. I especially love the bed.

Softness

This room feels serene and neutral, and these are always great qualities for a guest bedroom.
