I am not sure if you play the lotto, but let’s say you decided to try your luck and you win a very big jackpot. What would you do with that money? Seeing this classic Hamptons beach house that is actually for sale for $29,900,000 made me wonder if I could ever imagine spending that amount of money on a house. Doesn’t it sound hard to write a check with that many zeros?
Located in East Hampton, NY, the prestigious “Further Lane Farm” compound is a premium construction of 17,000 sq. ft. that was built in 2010. Sitting on a gated 5.8 acres (includes 2.2 acre building lot plus exclusive use of 3.6 acre open-space reserve) with sweeping views over 41 acre of protected farm reserve minutes to ocean, this custom home was designed by architect John Murray with interiors by noted decorator Victoria Hagan.
Large light-filled open rooms featuring a big family room and a dream kitchen, master suite plus 9 additional bedrooms, media/playroom and not to mention a 60 ft pool with pool-house and north/south har-tru tennis court.
Take a look and let me know what you think… would you add this home to your list if you won the lottery tomorrow?
Classic Hamptons Beach House
Classic interiors are perfectly blended with timeless architecture in this home. I am sure you will enjoy the tour.
Welcome to “Further Lane Farm”.
Classic Coastal Foyer
If you’re looking for ideas for your classic coastal foyer, look no further. This foyer has to be one of the best out there.
From the impeccable millwork to the beautiful mix of different ton of blues, this space easily takes your breath away. Notice the Dutch doors.
This design is a very “Hamptons”. Love the subtle coastal decor.
The living has my name all over it! I love the softness of this space… it’s inviting and elegant without being pretentious, which is a must for me.
Cozy and pretty. I really love the casual feel of this living room.
Thinking of renovating your dining room? Then, this one should inspire you. This dining room is classic without being boring and I am sure you won’t get tired of this design.
This butler’s pantry is just perfect. Gorgeous cabinetry!
I have seen so many white kitchens, but this one is extra special. Take a close look at the design details. They’re classic!

Family Room Design
I like this space because of its comfortable furniture and the layout. It feels elegant and family-friendly at the same time.
Open the doors and enjoy the ocean’s breeze…
Notice the gorgeous drapes and rods surrounding almost the entire room.
This is the kind of mudroom that inspires me. I am loving the slate flooring.
A secondary staircase leads to the master bedroom. Notice the stunning molding and beadboard details.
Second Floor Landing
I am loving the idea of using a large console and a simple bench. Simple and clean design.
Large homes tend to have big bedrooms and they very often feel cold and “unfinished”. I am loving this bedroom because it feels cozy and you can easily feel embraced by it.
A small study is just off the master bedroom.
Peaceful view can be enjoyed from the master bedroom and study’s balcony. Notice the railing design.

Breezeway to Guest Wing
This breezeway leads to an impeccably designed guest wing.
The guest quarters have everything your guests could wish for, including a kitchen and fine decor.
I love seeing the natural elements in this room being mixed with different blues and tans. It feels coastal and natural.
You can never get bored or have enough guests in this home. This media room is fun and so are the bunk beds!
If you leave in the East coast, you know how unpredictable the weather can be. Having a sunroom helps you to feel closer to your gardens without having to deal with cold or rain.
Shingles are a must in the Hamptons. I just can’t imagine it otherwise.
Back of the House
Isn’t this home beautiful? I love the architecture.
This property is very private and close to the beach.
Wouldn’t it be fun to play tennis here? What a life! 🙂
I love the simplicity and beauty of this pool.
I can’t find anything I don’t like in this home… wait a minute, the price! Other than that, everything else is pretty perfect!
