A serene and natural foundation of shimmering grasscloth wallpaper, bleached hardwood floors and wide loom sisal rugs were wrapped around the walls and floors like a sandy floor surrounded by dunes in this East Hampton beach cottage. Layer upon layer of white sheer fabrics filter the sunlight like an umbrella and pick up on the faintest of breezes, as a sail would. The repeated use of bold patterns in shades of blue, sand and white, a surfboard in the stairwell, a downright daring selection of wallpapers and a dreamy master bedroom is where you want to end your day at.
After a long renovation done by Chango & Co., this cottage easily became a peaceful and decidedly playful getaway whose undertone reads: “You are now at the beach, take off your shoes, turn off your phone and relax”. Are you ready for that?

The stunning canopy bed was purchase from an online retailer, and then customized with linen back and sheers. You can find similar frames on Pottery Barn, Overstock, Wayfair, etc.
The dressers come from Noir Furniture.
Master Bedroom Vanity Area
A feminine vanity area features a Venetian mirror and artwork with sea urchins displayed on wall. Louis style chair and white vanity adds a special touch to this space. Notice the grasscloth wallpaper on all walls.

Hello my beautiful friends. I hope you had a wonderful time here today. This cottage brings me some peace… I find the colors very relaxing and soothing. Did you feel the same way?
Talking about peace, my dear grandfather will be going through a difficult surgery on Thursday and I am doing all I can to be strong.
We talked yesterday and the last thing he asked me is to pray for him. I am a person of strong faith and I know that miracles can happen. If it’s not too much to ask, please add my grandfather to your prayers, thoughts or simply send him some good energy. He is one of the most important person in my life and he’s being battling a lot for quite some time now. I am sorry for sharing this here… but I do need you guys at this moment.
Thank you, my friends.
Update: I just read some of your comments and emails and I want to thank you from the deepest part of my heart for your kind words. I am miles far away from my grandfather and I feel so helpless. Prayers are the only thing I can offer to him at this moment.
Thank you for your support. I am so Blessed to have you guys.
