According to the interior designer, Nina Topper from Nina Topper Interior Design, this family home with transitional interiors was designed for a very active young family. A stunning connection between the inside of the home and the lush gardens outside makes the home feel much larger than it is. Bold use of color and extraordinary finish materials along with unifying paint color and floor material make the home flow seamlessly while providing surprises around every turn.
I hope you have a good time seeing these new ideas on transitional interiors. Have fun!
Family Home with Transitional Interiors
Remarkable architectural details are found in this home. I really like the paving stones leading to the distinctive entryway.
This home was designed by Polsky Perlstein Architects.
Black trims add some drama to this shingled home.
Stunning exterior with natural stones and cedar shake sidings.
Very pretty landscaping! I also love the copper gutters.
Isn’t it a beautiful home?

This transitional living room has warm hues and textures with a very inviting seating arrangement.
Spacious and bright, this dining room is perfect for entertaining and it has lovely views of the backyard. I especially like the millwork and the doors.

Can’t decide on having white cabinets or dark stained one? Why not choose both? This shows it can work!
A mix of carrara marble and mini-subway tiles were used as backsplash in this kitchen. Modern yet timeless.
I always love family rooms that are sunny and comfortable. This one opens to an amazing covered patio.

How are you??? I missed being here, preparing new posts and talking to you guys, but I have to say that I had a wonderful time with my family. I won’t lie… it was busy around here! I cooked and cleaned a lot! Isn’t Christmas always like this? I remember when we used to celebrated it at my grandparents’ home and we just had to be there… no worries with food, cleaning, nothing at all!
It’s a little different when we have everyone at your place, but it’s all worth it. We get tired, but our hearts feel warm and grateful. And that’s how I am honestly feeling lately. I am feeling grateful for everything and everyone in my life.
I believe the more blessings we count, the more they come!
So, what are you grateful for today?
Have a wonderful week, my friends!
