A show stopper!
The roof on the house is natural cedar shingles and the roof on the porch is standing seam copper.
Exterior Color
The exterior of the home is cedar shingles in a custom color the homeowner chose. I have to say that I also love the landscaping.
Curb Appeal
Roof and siding are all western red cedar.
Similar Exterior Paint Color: “Benjamin Moore’s Evening Dove 2128-30”.
White Kitchen
This kitchen is open, spacious and very bright. Who wouldn’t love to cook here?
Countertop is polished 2″ thick “Bianca Gioia Marble”.
White Kitchen Cabinet Paint Color
Kitchen Cabinet Paint Color: “Benjamin Moore Decorators White CC-20”. — A very popular designer choice for crisp white kitchen cabinets!
Kitchen Backsplash
The backsplash in this kitchen is 3 x 6 white marble subway tiles.
Kitchen Island
This is a great prep area! The faucet is by Rohl.
The stools came from the catalog Grandin Road.
Eating Area
The eating area is elegant and casual at the same time. Anyone can feel comfortable here.
Butler’s Pantry
This practical and spacious butler’s pantry connects the kitchen to the dining room.
The light fixture in the dining room are the”Six Light Square Tube Chandelier”.
The table came from the Kravet showroom in NYC.
Prep Sink
This cute prep sink is made of hammered nickel.
Living Room
I love how classic this living room feels. It’s warm and uncluttered.
Floors: The floors are 4 1/2″ red oak/Quarter Sawn with Jacobean stain color.
Staircase
Good architecture don’t scream for attention… good architecture simply makes the space feel effortlessly beautiful.
Lantern is from Hudson Valley.
Classic Master Bedroom
Bedrooms should always reflect our personality and feel relaxing to us. Choose colors and textures that are comfortable and calming.
You want to open the door and feel as if you’re in a special place that belongs only to you.
Window-Seat
The window seat was framed during construction and then an upholsterer finished it on site. Isn’t it a beautiful “piece”?
Shades are natural woven.
Bathroom
What a beauty! Who wouldn’t love to take a bath in there? 🙂
Flooring is hexagon shaped marble tiles.
Black & Gray
So much inspiration can be found in this bathroom. I really like the cabinetry design.
Sconces are the “Openwork Over-the-Mirror Bath Sconce” by Circa Lighting.
Girl’s Bedroom
This color works well from small kids to teens.
Similar Paint Color: “Lily Lavender 2071-60 by Benjamin Moore”.
Powder Room
This powder room has so much character. I really like the distressed cabinets and sink.
Brick flooring in a bathroom? That’s a first! I would recommend it to be sealed.
The sink is by Kohler.
Mudroom
This is a very well-designed mudroom. It has plenty of storage and very durable flooring. Couldn’t love it more! 🙂
The room is roughly 17 x 11.
Mudroom Storage
The floor is 1/2 brick. The bench was designed by the homeowner and custom built.
The baskets are from “The Container Store” and mounted on roll out shelves.
The depth of the shelving is 22 inches.
Sunroom
I am crazy about sunrooms! They should be designed for relaxing moments, so comfortable furniture is a must.
Landscaping Ideas

I am so happy today is Monday! As I mentioned before, we’re trying to sell our house and I am feeling very positive about it.
I am always praying for God to help us to decide on what’s the best for our lives and I know that this will only happen if it’s the right time.
We tried to sell our house before and nothing happened. If you have done this before, you probably know how stressful it can be, but it also teaches you to be calmer and know that nothing happens without a reason. We can get mad, we can complain, we can cry –how many nights I did that… asking why nothing was going as planned… but having faith is the only way I choose to live this life. So, I am putting this situation on God’s hands and I am doing my part. I feel that things tend to actually work when I do that. 🙂

Hi, I am currently refurbing my house in england to a new england style house and love all the fret work used around American new england houses. I am going to use a resin/concrete weatherboard for the exterior of my house but not sure where I can get all the corner sections and decorative bargeboards and facias from would you know.
