Have you ever realized how some homes seem to invite you in and make you feel a little more relaxed than others? Why do you think that is? I am a big believer that interior colors and flow can easily set the feel of any home and, in my opinion, neutral interiors tend to make a home feel easier to live in.
Designed by the very talented Bria Hammel Interiors and with pictures by Gridley + Grave, this home exudes many inspiring neutral interior ideas. From an ivory kitchen featuring neutral hand glazed subway tiles to a bedroom that simply has the best neutral paint color, this is the kind of home that you can easily see yourself living in.
Take a break today to see this house tour with a cup of tea or coffee and I promise you this neutral color palette will make you feel a little more relaxed and at ease.
Neutral interiors don’t mean boring! A neutral palette of pale grays, tans and browns is perfectly balanced with a hint of pink and yellow in this living room. Also notice the stunning horizontal stripe draperies.
Custom pillows add a hint of color to this otherwise neutral living room.
The entire main floor, including the breakfast nook, was painted in Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray – a very neutral paint color.
These chairs are from Restoration Hardware with their stocked fabric in “Sand”.
Lighting is Elena Wood Bead Chandelier from Pottery Barn – discontinued.
I love the creamy white cabinet paint color. Isn’t it beautiful? I find this color to be a great ivory white for kitchen cabinets! The paint color was a custom color but is somewhere in between Benjamin Moore White Dove and Benjamin Moore Linen White.
Wall paint color is Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray.
The glass jug pendant lights are from Shades of Light- $99 each. I love their clean lines and their price! 😉
Countertop is granite.
Kitchen Backsplash Tile
The kitchen backsplash tile is an Ann Sacks hand glazed subway tile, part of their Earthenware Elements Field Tile collection.
Grout was done in an ivory color to match the cabinets.
The butler’s pantry features ivory lower shaker cabinets, oil-rubbed bronze hardware, granite counters and a gray arabesque backsplash tiles. Also notice the gorgeous eclipse mullion upper cabinets.
The dining room has a more traditional feel thanks to the deep gray wall paint color and the classic wainscoting.
This cozy mudroom features open lockers with iron coat hooks and an open storage bench filled with seagrass baskets atop gray and white hexagonal tiled floors.
I love this powder room! Isn’t this French white sink console beautiful? It goes perfectly with the scalloped beveled mirror and the Katie Ridder Leaf wallpaper.
The neutral paint color used in this bedroom is Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray SW7029.
The gray upholstered bed is custom designed from Cisco Brothers.
The nightstands are from Ethan Allen – $1,191.00 each.

Hi! I absolutely love this house! We are renovating our kitchen and this kitchen is its inspiration. However I am struggling with the cabinet color. You said these cabinets are custom and somewhere between White Dove and Linen White. Does that mean they had Ben Moore mix those two colors to get this one? I’ve tried Simply White, Ivory White, White Dove and just don’t love all of them. I really love the creamy look of these cabinets and it would go best with the rest of our home which has deeper colors and is definitely not of stark white decor (we have 3 kids, no further explanation needed. Lol). Any help or info you have on exactly how they got this color would be so great appreciated. Thank you!
This kitchen is absolutely a favorite around here and on Pinterest. I love it as well! Unfortunately I don’t have the specifics on the paint color. I advise you to contact the interior designer directly. She might be able to help you with this:

I hope this helps! 🙂
Thank you so much! I appreciate it 🙂
Hello! I really love the master bedroom but am wondering where the 2 chairs are from. Can you please tell me?!?! I’m in love with them!
Please try to contact the designer directly for more information. Unfortunately I don’t have this on my files.
I might be too late but is it possible to find out where i can purchase the prints in the dining room? This is the third time i have came across them in my search for dining room wall decor. I have searched art.com for them but have no luck. Perhaps you could point me in the right direction?
I don’t have this info, but feel free to contact the designer to see if she can help you with that: Bria Hammel Interiors – http://briahammelinteriors.com/
