This is a beautifully proportioned cottage ideal for family and entertaining. And if the welcoming and bright interiors aren’t enough to make your jaw drop, wait until you see the triple slip boathouse… it’s simply magnificent!

Come discover something not often found on Muskoka Lake, Canada.

 Muskoka Lake Cottage

A front porch with French doors welcome guests in a very casual way.

 Family Room

I fell in love with this cottage the moment I saw it. I know it’s an “upscale” cottage, and I usually prefer simpler ones, but the design found here is beyond compare.

Notice the gorgeous reclaimed wooden floors and the classic millwork.

 Small White Kitchen

This is a small kitchen with character and charm! The distressed cabinets look fantastic in this crisp white paint.

 Eating Nook

Cozy! Who wouldn’t love to eat here? I also love the light fixture by Circa Lighting.

Perfectly decorated! Bedrooms should always be inviting, just like this one is.

It’s impossible to not fall in love with this family room if you, especially if you like coastal decor.

 Casual Comfort

Perfect harmony between great design and architecture.

 Cottage Life

I love the creamy white walls, the decor and the lake view.

This cottage keeps getting better and better! Notice the stunning floors.

This is the way to enjoy summer!

 The Life

Anyone want to go for a ride? 🙂

… And talking about summer, cottage, lake… are you being able to enjoy your summer? I can’t believe it’s the middle of August already and summer is rapidly fading away. I think we’re having a really good summer, but I have to be honest, I’m pretty ready for September! Cooler weather, quieter mornings and more trips to my favorite cafe in town… 🙂

Enjoy your day, my friends. See you again tomorrow.

I love the design of this home, this is absolutely stunning. The family room is my favorite, and I love the windows and doors in this home. The builder has a creative touch, nice job.

Gorgeous! I live in a lake cottage and we are about to start building a home on the lot. I really want to keep it “cottagey”. Breaks my heart to see many “subdivision looking” homes being constructed on lakes. These people did a great job keeping with the cottage look. Thank you for posting this and other lake homes. It has been inspirational to me in designing my cottage home.
