Have you ever realized how some homes seem to invite you in and make you feel a little more relaxed than others? Why do you think that is? I am a big believer that interior colors and flow can easily set the feel of any home and, in my opinion, neutral interiors tend to make a home feel easier to live in.
Designed by the very talented Bria Hammel Interiors and with pictures by Gridley + Grave, this home exudes many inspiring neutral interior ideas. From an ivory kitchen featuring neutral hand glazed subway tiles to a bedroom that simply has the best neutral paint color, this is the kind of home that you can easily see yourself living in.
Take a break today to see this house tour with a cup of tea or coffee and I promise you this neutral color palette will make you feel a little more relaxed and at ease.

Neutral interiors don’t mean boring! A neutral palette of pale grays, tans and browns is perfectly balanced with a hint of pink and yellow in this living room. Also notice the stunning horizontal stripe draperies.
Pillows

Custom pillows add a hint of color to this otherwise neutral living room.
Breakfast Room

The entire main floor, including the breakfast nook, was painted in Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray – a very neutral paint color.
These chairs are from Restoration Hardware with their stocked fabric in “Sand”.
Lighting is Elena Wood Bead Chandelier from Pottery Barn – discontinued.
Kitchen

I love the creamy white cabinet paint color. Isn’t it beautiful? I find this color to be a great ivory white for kitchen cabinets! The paint color was a custom color but is somewhere in between Benjamin Moore White Dove and Benjamin Moore Linen White.
Wall paint color is Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray.
The glass jug pendant lights are from Shades of Light- $99 each. I love their clean lines and their price! 😉
Countertop is granite.
Kitchen Backsplash Tile

The kitchen backsplash tile is an Ann Sacks hand glazed subway tile, part of their Earthenware Elements Field Tile collection.
Grout was done in an ivory color to match the cabinets.
Butler’s Pantry

The butler’s pantry features ivory lower shaker cabinets, oil-rubbed bronze hardware, granite counters and a gray arabesque backsplash tiles. Also notice the gorgeous eclipse mullion upper cabinets.
Dining Room

The dining room has a more traditional feel thanks to the deep gray wall paint color and the classic wainscoting.
Mudroom

This cozy mudroom features open lockers with iron coat hooks and an open storage bench filled with seagrass baskets atop gray and white hexagonal tiled floors.
Bathroom

I love this powder room! Isn’t this French white sink console beautiful? It goes perfectly with the scalloped beveled mirror and the Katie Ridder Leaf wallpaper.
Bedroom

The neutral paint color used in this bedroom is Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray SW7029.
The gray upholstered bed is custom designed from Cisco Brothers.
The nightstands are from Ethan Allen – $1,191.00 each.
