This inspiring transitional farmhouse was designed by Total Concepts and is situated in Calistoga, California, United States.
With unique interiors and eye-catching architectural details, this home keeps surprising you from room to room. A transitional white kitchen with a big island is the heart of the home, while the master bedroom is certainly where you would like to relax after a long day.
This farmhouse has great transitional interior design ideas, which certainly feel fresh, and I think we all can appreciate that.

Striking architectural details complement the peaceful surroundings.
I am loving the front porch and the landscaping.

This entryway really grabbed my attention. Not only the deer antler chandelier is very unique, but also the decor. I love the airy, natural feel of this space. It’s dramatic but calming at the same time.
Transitional Living Room
The living room is full of warmth and different textures.
Coffee tables are vintage pieces.
Notice the sliding doors separating the living room from the kitchen.
This transitional kitchen is just perfect! I love the large island with butcher’s block countertop and wainscoting. The white paneling contrasts beautifully with the dark wood.
It would be really fun to wake up and have a cup of coffee while reading the newspaper here. And talking about fun, take a look at the custom bottle chandelier. Now, that’s original! 🙂
Here & There
Partial walls create a feel of separation from kitchen to family room.
Great neutral color palette is enriched with vibrant pop of colors coming from decorative pieces and furniture.
Oh, my Deer!
I have to be very honest with you guys, I am not that crazy about animal horns, or heads or anything like that in my house, but I have to say that this custom orbit deer antler chandelier is a show-stopper.

Benjamin Moore Navajo White OC-95
I am loving the cream white color in this bathroom. It contrasts beautifully with the marble countertop and floors.
Marble tiling is always a classic choice in any shower.
Can you picture yourself eating your meals here? Take the views in… I love the trees, the fence… you can almost feel the fresh breeze.
It would be great to roast marshmallows or talk to some friends here. I love the relaxed yet stylish feel of this patio.
Floors are bluestone.
This is where you would find me during every sunny afternoon…
This farmhouse is truly graceful and full of personality!
What a wonderful place… I really like the interiors, especially the kitchen and bedroom, but the outdoors are simply breathtaking! Let me know if you agree with me! 🙂
Did you have a good weekend? We were a bit affected by a storm yesterday and lost power for eight hours. Never fun!
But talking about fun, the kids and I are baking some fresh bread right now (it’s in the oven.. can you smell it? 🙂 ). In fact this is my late grandma’s bread recipe. It’s being a special way for us to think about her. I used to bake with my grandma all the time when I was a child and I love being able to pass this along to my children now.
We’re creating beautiful memories together and believe me, life is all about that… The love and the memories you create today is what stays with you forever.
Have a Blessed week, filled with special memories.
Big hugs to you!
