Located in Charleston, South Carolina, this French-inspired family home features dark-stained oak floors, commanding millwork, Lagos Azul limestone and an impressive collection of French antique lighting. But what really takes your breath away is the kitchen renovation executed by the interior designer. The extensive kitchen renovation features a La Cornue Chateau range, Sub-Zero and Miele appliances and very inspiring custom cabinetry.
The result of this is a French-inspired home that is perfect for this family, in a very elegant and timeless way.

The family room is approximately 20′-6″ x 19′-4″.
Home Office
I love seeing ceilings painted in different colors. Using a slightly darker color will make the space feel cozier.
The light fixture is by 20th Century Lighting in “Old Nickel” finish.

Kitchen
You probably know how much I love white kitchens, but this kitchen simply stays in your mind. The details are incredibly well-designed and I really like the idea of using a different color for the two cabinets beside the hood.
Dark Cabinets
The kitchen has La Cornue Chateau range, Sub-Zero and Miele appliances, custom cabinetryand Waterworks tile.
Made in France
I would cook more often with this “baby”. 🙂

I am behind on my blog reading and what a treat for Mother’s Day to see such beautiful details. The calm colors and yet warm kitchen cabinetry was a perfect mix. I am always weak in the knees to see front or back doors that are arched!! Then the re-purposed China cabinet is stunning. Have a wonderful Mother’s Day!!
