Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, near the Lake Harriet, and designed for a couple and their daughters, the 2015 Mpls.St.Paul Magazine ASID MN Showcase Home boasts a coastal-chic vibe that starts from the Hamptons shingled style exterior with blue front door painted in Benjamin Moore Wythe Blue to the open and bright interiors.
Every detail was meticulously designed by big names in the interior design industry, including Great Neighborhood Homes. The interiors of this coastal-inspired dream home feel cohesive and connected from room to room thanks to all of the 27 ASID designers that worked hard to come up with a timeless coastal-chic theme that can be seen in every space of this house.
Expect to fall in love with all the blues and sandy hues, the finishes, all of the textures and accents that evoke driftwood, rope, shells and sea glass. This home is a dream come true for anyone who loves coastal interiors.

It’s impossible to not look at this house while walking by. Its architectural details were impeccably designed and they immediately grab your attention.

Every detail in the home exudes the beach-chic vibe the homeowners were hoping to achieve.
Built-in Foyer Bench: The foyer bench cushion fabric is the Beckford Cotton Plain Nickel for Schumacher.

The foyer opens to the kitchen and great room. The French doors together with the front door creates the ideal cross-ventilation.

A space meant to act as “the heart of the home”, the kitchen looks out to the great room and front entryway.
I have to say this is one of my favorite kitchens ever! To the right you will find a desk area and the dining room. To the left, you have a fully-equipped pantry.
The wall paint color is Benjamin Moore HC-172 Revere Pewter.

The kitchen, designed by Erin Botz of Great Neighborhood Homes, features white cabinets and turquoise accents, such as the Urban Electric lantern shown in Sweet Dreams by Benjamin Moore with Clear Glass.
