When Jasmine Roth from Warehouse Collective was approached by this family of four to help build their Huntington Beach, CA dream home he couldn’t be happier. This is the kind of project that any interior designer would love to be involved in, not only for the project itself but also because of the wonderful homeowners as well.
Located just two blocks from the sand, two blocks from Main Street, and across the street from Huntington Beach’s most recent retail concept, Pacific City, this modern new construction beach house is all about location and inspiring interior ideas.
The scope of the project was a complete new construction build and the interior designer’s job was to create functional spaces for the family with two small children, clean lines, a big pool for the kids, and using the ocean views as focus points.

You start to fall in love with this beach house the moment you see this Dutch-door painted in a turquoise paint color – Dunn Edwards DE5734 Emperor Jade.
Kitchen
Kitchens should always be designed to accommodate the homeowner needs. I love the long island with white quartz countertop and the window seat; perfect spot for the kids to read or relax while mommy and daddy are cooking.
Window Seat
This kitchen window seat features a very popular framed art; the You Are My Sunshine by Sugarboo Designs – $252
Modern Beach House Kitchen
I am loving this sleek white kitchen with shaker style cabinet doors, gray quartz countertop and counter-to-ceiling subway tile.
Desk Alcove
The kitchen also features a built-in desk under the stairs.

Living Room
A clean and simple look, with pops of turquoise and yellow was the beachy color palette requested by the clients. Isn’t it lovely? Notice the custom pale gray cabinets flanking the fireplace.
Powder Room
The designer mixes industrial with handcraft modern style in this powder room with pocket doors.
Kids Bathroom
The kids’ bathroom was designed with the future in mind. The elements are neutral, and fun is added with decorative pieces only.

Jack & Jill Style
This Jack and Jill bathroom has a great layout and beautiful hex floor tiles.
Master Bedroom
Turquoise and yellow make its way to the bedroom in a fun way! I am loving this turquoise bed!
Built-ins
Built-in cabinets and window seats with steel windows above add a handcraft modern feel to this bedroom.
Bathroom
The master bathroom feature clean lines and beautiful tile work.
Shower
The gray subway tiles were laid vertically to add interest to the shower.
Vanity
Gorgeous custom vanity with crisp white cabinets and white quartz countertop. Notice the distressed wooden mirror.
Mudroom
This mudroom is simple yet perfect! The cabinet was designed with shelves, drawers and even turquoise cushions and turquoise hooks. Cute!
Patio Doors
Steel folding patio doors let the outdoors in.
Modern Beach House
I love the architectural details of this modern beach house as much as I love this backyard with pool and spa.
Spending Time with Friends
It would be fun to invite some good friends over to talk or simply relax with a good book here. This is a great spot to enjoy the sunshine!
