This home was completely custom done by Kellie Hefner of Ivy House Interiors. The interiors are elegant without being too precious. Strong colors and pieces of personality shine against a neutral background, and between many details and spaces with so much beauty, a warm kitchen, painted in Benjamin Moore Linen White, easily becomes the center of this house. Timeless elements get a hint of glamour with brass lighting and brass hardware.
Wait and you will see… these custom interiors will not bore you!
This space feels collected and elegant. The entry wall paint color is Benjamin Moore Stonington Gray.
The sconces are Candace Olson, “Rhythm”. The dresser is from a local antique store that the designer had repainted in black. The art is made by Susan Skelley and at the time was purchased at One Kings Lane. The chairs are a Louis Style Arm Chair.
Kitchen
From a design perspective, this kitchen has an open layout, with the dining room and living space adjoining to create a large space for entertaining. The appliances are Wolf brand stove and Bosch ovens. Overall, the look of this kitchen is elegant and sophisticated which reflects the clients’ personalities.

Dining Room
The dining room is set in front of wall to wall windows. The table was previously owned by the client and the Louis style chairs are made by Zentique (can be purchased through Wayfair). The art resembles the outdoors and adds a pop of color to the space.
Updated Living Space
This updated living space has a more colorful rug from Wayfair. The designer kept the two arm chairs in cream, but changed the old beige couch for a gray couch.

Isn’t it fun to see interior designers that aren’t afraid of using color? Designing with color is tricky but if you add it to the right place, and in moderation, the result is often a home that feels cheerful and happy – and who doesn’t want to live in a happy home, right? 🙂
Talking about being happy, I just want to say how happy I am for having you here today. Thank you so much for always supporting this little space that’s ours. I hope you can feel how important your part here is. I can’t do it all by myself and I honestly thank you for your support, for your loyalty and your friendship. Thank you for coming here, for sharing the blog with your family and friends and with your followers. It’s amazing to know how much love I get from you, my friends, and I want you to know how grateful I truly am.
May you feel my gratitude right there, in your heart.
Enjoy your day… it will be a beautiful one!
