Happy new week, my dear readers! I hope you had a great weekend and may we all have a very Blessed new week. It’s truly an honor to have you here!
“The young couple wanted their newly purchased home to reflect their modern style. They wanted their home to be light and bright, casual and sophisticated, and “California” cool. They also wanted to be sure that their home fit their lifestyle now, but would also transition with them as they start a family in next few years. We worked on many of the main spaces of the home since the beginning of the renovation, including the homeowner’s master bath, kitchen, breakfast room, and den.”
Take notes on the details below and have a good time!

Sherwin Williams SW 6249 Storm Cloud in Satin Finish.
The master bathroom was also completely renovated and I really like how current yet timeless it feels.
Sconces: Visual Comfort.
“Large tiles are not the safest option for bathroom flooring, especially in a shower. Therefore, we opted for small hexagonal marble tiles as the flooring throughout the master bath, including the shower. Smaller tiles have better grip than their larger counterparts, simply because they have so many grout lines. Smaller tile and grout keep the floor from getting too slippery, especially when wet.” – Heather Scott.
Floor Tile: 2”-3” hexagon marble tiles.
Cabinet Paint Color: “Benjamin Moore 1536 Northern Cliffs Taupe” in Satin Finish.
Trim & Ceiling Paint Color: Benjamin Moore OC-17 White Dove.
Shower Tiles: 12”x24” Large format marble tile.
Window Treatment: Natural woven shade with white privacy liner, Inside mount.
Wall color is “Benjamin Moore 943 Spanish Cream White” in Eggshell.
Similar Freestanding Tub: here.
Similar Tub Filler: here.
“The sleek tub is bordered with large format marble tiles. The marble tiles are laid horizontally for a polished feel. For another special detail, we capped the large wall tile with a chair rail. It adds a nice, finished edge to the space.” Heather Scott.
The designer also added a round side table near tub for accents.
“We installed a porch swing with navy blue and white accents. The seat is upholstered in a navy fabric with contrast pale blue piping. A mix of patterned pillows add some personality to the front porch. The dark stain wood frame and decorative siding of the bench gives a strong contrast to the front porch swing.” – Heather Scott.
Outdoor Fabric: Sunbrella.
Awww… Aren’t they adorable? They know how to make that irresistible “puppy face” that melts your heart! 🙂
