As the weekend approaches and everything starts to slow down, we can all find a quiet spot in our home and start dreaming away about some beautiful interior design ideas.
The weather is getting pretty cold and rainy around here and we’re supposed to get a snow storm over the weekend, which is a great thing since Christmas is not that far, but my heart is set on a sunny day at the beach. I’m missing my long walks, hearing the waves crashing on the shore, finding pretty shells and building sand castles with the kids.

This weekend will be all about Christmas around here! I’m mailing some gifts tomorrow and putting our Christmas tree on Saturday. We’ve got some firewood and we’re getting the house toasty and cozy while we decorate our home. It should be fun!
I feel it’s very important to gather my family to spend a special time together, not only because it’s Christmas, but because life seems to be going by so fast that I find to be more than necessary to slow down and notice the important things in life.
I am taking this time to also analyze how things were this year in my life… there were a lot of ups-and-downs (especially downs with my grandfather’s health issues) and I feel I need to concentrate on the small changes I have to take in charge to improve my life, my happiness, my mood and my heart.
I like to think that I am not here to live any less than the way I deserve. For that, my friends, you need to keep your focus on what direction you’re going to…
Do you know to where your path is leading you to?
