When it comes to summer, there isn’t a better place to be than at a beach-side home, especially if the beach house is located in Florida. This gorgeous waterfront home is for sale and it is located on the bay in Destin, Florida, on a big beautiful lot full of live oaks dripping in Spanish moss and it has deep water boat access!
Tucked away at the extreme east end of Indian Trail, the private cul-de-sac location of this Matt Savoie-designed residence ensures peace and privacy within the gated Estates at Indian Pointe. The lucky owners will enjoy unsurpassed boating, fishing and luxury waterfront living from the 154 feet of private waterfront that this lot affords. Designed with many one of a kind features, the home is planned around a gorgeous kitchen featuring Calcutta Gold marble countertops and a butler’s pantry. The living room has 12-foot ceilings and adjoins the formal dining room. A comprehensive master suite occupies the remainder of the first floor with Turkish Patara limestone counters, Akdo tile and Palladium travertine flooring in the adjoining master bath. A gallery leads to the separate guest wing and pool room with cozy fireplace and screened porch.
The second floor is devoted to further bedrooms and bathrooms with access to the porch and a balcony with stunning waterviews!

Happy New Week, everyone!
How are you doing today? I am starting to feel better but my 4 y/o is now battling a bad flu. We barely could sleep last night, but I hope he can feel better soon. He is the sweetest boy and the happiest boy you could ever meet and it breaks my heart to see him this way.
Even though we aren’t feeling 100% we ended-up having a great Father’s Day. The kids were very sweet to my husband and we could celebrated it with a good dinner. I’m sure we’ve created some special memories together and that’s what life is all about… it’s not about what we have but who we have by our side.
Start this week creating special memories with the people that matters to you.
Wishing you all a healthy, safe and Blessed week.

On one hand, the house looks lovely. On the other, this house will be a nightmare to try to air condition and try to keep cool. The 2 story windows and the utter lack of fans will allow a LOT of heat to come in and stay. Yes, you can open windows, but you still have to deal with heat and humidity.
If you can afford $3.8M for a home, the cost of cooling and heating would probably be the least of your concerns. Also, new homes today are built with such high energy efficiency standards to help with the cost that I’m sure with this price of a home it might cost less to cool/heat than you’d think.
