Since summer started I have featured many Florida vacation homes on the blog. Not only because the location is perfect for summer celebrations but also because Florida beach houses never looked so good! Take this home for example, the homeowners, a young family from Birmingham, were looking for a vacation home in Florida when this rare location came on the market. The homeowners knew this was a rare opportunity and immediately put an offer, even without seeing the house. All they knew was that this was the ideal location and the floor plan worked for them. With the help of TS Adams Studio Architects and Allyson Runnels from Laura Allyson Interiors, this would soon turn into the beach house they’ve always dreamed of.
Take a look at the beautiful interiors in this Seagrove Beach, Florida vacation home. You will find many inspiring ideas and sources. I hope you guys enjoy!
The shingle exterior brings a Nantucket feel to this Florida vacation home.
Front Door: San Juan provided all the exterior doors – the front door was a custom “splayed panel” that we designed for this particular house.
Exterior Paint Color: Singles: “Cabot Beachwood Gray”.
Trim Paint Color: “Benjamin Moore Hardwood Putty”.
Brick: “Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter”.
Singles, painted brick and garage door corbels add beauty to the exterior of this home.
Adding painted wood-paneled walls lend a casual elegance to the interiors of this home. All power outlets were placed on the baseboards for a discreet look.
The foyer lighting is a hand-blown, cascading glass bubble chandelier, the Muriel Chandelier by Oly Studio.

The kitchen also features double islands and a French hood that stands over a swing arm pot filler and a stainless steel range. One island is designated as a prep station fitted with a sink and gooseneck faucet, while the second kitchen island is designated as the dining table fitted with a small prep sink and white and gray square back counter stools.
Sconce is Lowcountry Originals Single Wall Sconce – $400.00 each.
The kitchen features beautiful oval glass tile backsplash. The oval tile is from “Waterworks”.
The designer explains that she used outdoor fabric and leather on most of the upholstery because she wanted the interior to not only feel attractive but also to be very durable.
Countertops in kitchen are Calcutta marble.
I am loving this bright dining room with ivory draperies.

A sliding barn door creates a sense of privacy to the bunk room.
This guest bedroom features unobstructed ocean views and the designer wanted to keep it calm and serene with ivory white fabrics and a soothing wallpaper.
Cowhide ottomans are from MacRae.
Bed linens are from “The Designers Workroom” in Dogwood fabric.
The master bathroom features white, black and gray hexagonal tiled floor. The hex floors are New Ravenna Pembroke Tiles.

When it comes to the master bedroom, the homeowner says that she loves the soft and not over accessorized feel. The sitting area is her favorite spot in the house… Well, how could you not feel this way with that 180 degree ocean view, right?!
Chandelier in the sitting area is from Oly.
This inspiring gray shingled beach house features a small rectangular pool and an expansive patio.
… and now you understand why the homeowners decided to buy this home even before seeing it personally. Location, location, location! 🙂
