Family Home

This is the kind of family home that can make any couple happy! The wife gets all the soothing colors, the white kitchen, marble countertops and the free standing tub in the dreamy bathroom, while the husband gets the most exciting man cave with a fully equipped media room (hidden behind a secret door!), a bar, and even an outdoor kitchen that can transform him into the best BBQ chef on the block.

Designed by Garrison Hullinger, this Victorian shingle-style home has approximately 7,200 square feet, but, regardless of its big size, still has the feeling of a cozy family home. The interior has a welcoming approach with nautical decor, walls of windows, white wainscoting and light blue paint colors.

This is the kind of place that any family could feel right at home and I hope you appreciate the casual elegance found here.

  1. Enjoy your fun times with the kids…..this is a pretty house, I agree living room is the best room but some of the others feel cold and barren, like it needs warming up. It feels more model house than a family home that is used…..has a lot of potential! Enjoy your week sweetpea!

    I always enjoy the work you put into the blogs, always interesting.

    In response to Enchanted;
    I am not a lover of this type of decor, however, i do appreciate simplicity. I find most of the decor i see out there is quite ‘over done’. Way too much clutter.
    Does that idea ever cross your mind?
